What we do

We provide business document intake, document-management and referral-support services. In the business energy context, we collect information to help identify, organise and route documents for assessment. We do not provide legal advice and we do not guarantee that any matter will be accepted or result in recovery.

Information we collect

Business name, company number, trading name, address, site address, contact name, role, email, telephone number, energy supplier, historic supplier, broker/consultant used, MPAN, MPRN, contract dates, signed authority documents, supplier bills, contracts, broker emails, terms and related supporting evidence.

Why we use it

To respond to enquiries, verify business and site information, manage document intake, organise evidence, request missing documents, refer a matter for assessment where appropriate, maintain records, handle complaints, comply with legal obligations and improve our workflow.

Lawful bases

Depending on the activity, we may rely on legitimate interests, contractual necessity, legal obligation and consent. Consent is used where we ask for a specific optional permission, such as separate utility-review contact or marketing. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Who we share it with

Approved assessment partners, RMB, appointed solicitors, utility specialists, IT providers, Microsoft 365/SharePoint/Forms providers, professional advisers and regulators where required. We only share what is relevant for the stated purpose.

Retention

Initial enquiries that do not progress should normally be retained for up to 12 months. Active matters should be retained while the matter is live and for a reasonable audit/limitation period after closure. Sensitive identity documents should not be requested at initial enquiry stage and should be separately restricted if later required.

Your rights

Individuals may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. Requests should be sent to info@wbpdux.co.uk. Individuals also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Marketing and opt-out

You can object to or opt out of marketing or non-essential contact at any time by emailing info@wbpdux.co.uk. WBPDUX should maintain suppression records to ensure opt-out requests are respected.
